Linalool is a terpene or scent molecule derived from certain varieties of cannabis and other botanicals, such as lavender. It has been reported that linalool, a major component of Lavandula angustifolia, has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective effects, along with other effects. In other research, linalool led to serotonin release, and cortisol level reduction. These findings suggested that linalool has beneficial effects on the memory loss and behavioral alterations induced by REM-sleep deprivation through the regulation of serotonin levels.
CBN or Cannabinol, is a cannabinoid closely related to THC, however, it lacks the strong psychoactivity associated with the "high." CBN provides feelings of relaxation when combined with Linalool and other cannabinoids like CBD.
