    Linalool is a terpene or scent molecule derived from certain varieties of cannabis and other botanicals, such as lavender. It has been reported that linalool, a major component of Lavandula angustifolia, has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and neuroprotective effects, along with other effects. In other research, linalool led to serotonin release, and cortisol level reduction.
